who we are?
Amina is from West Africa Senegal. She started braiding when she was very young. Growing up she watched as her grandmother was a huge cultural African hair braider in Senegal. She picked up braiding from her. Her grandmother used to take her with her when she was braiding and Amina had a doll that she used to play with. She stared it as a way to pass time and before you know it she stared braiding her little cousins and the neighborhood kids. Few years later as a teenager Amina Dec to enrolled in a Beauty and Hair school where she learned the beauty industry and cultural hair braiding. Few years later after Amina moved to the USA she moved to Las Vegas Nevada and decided to open Yodi African Hair Braiding. The name Yodi is Fulani word for beautiful. We are all beautiful queens and that is inspiration of the braiding shop name.
At Yodi we specialize in various African hair braiding from Conrows, Senegalese twist, Bohemian braids, Faux locs, Braided weaves, box braids to Knotless braids. We also offer services like braids take down, braids touch up. We also fix and retwist locs.

Do I need to bring my own hair extensions?
If you’re interested in human hair styles, just bring your own hair. For synthetic looks, we’re happy to provide hair for you for an extra $20–$30.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a $50 deposit is required to book your appointment. The deposit will be applied to your total balance after your braiding service is complete.
How far in advance can i cancel?
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your appointment. If you reschedule your appointment with at least 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be kept and credited toward your rescheduled service. If you cancel without rescheduling or with less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be forfeited and is non-refundable.
